No, but be careful what you read and put in your mind. Once it's there you can never get it out

You mean "EXCEPT" the Bible don't you?
Nobody is excluded from reading anything they want to in this world. It's certainly excellent to read the Bible every day and okay also to read educational books, nature books and so forth but it's best to veto what you read if you fancy any sex novels or pornography magazines or anything like that.
Birds of a feather flock together; similarly, if you only enjoy reading "bad" things, you will become "bad"
Better to read the Bible AS WELL AS good, clean, healthy books which teach on what you are interested in - hobbies, work, study or whatever.

Of course not.
Philipians 4:8 says "whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things." This is a pretty clear statement the Christians aren't to focus on the Bible alone, because the Bible clearly does not have a monopoly on those virtues. Other books can also be true, pure and admirable, even if they are not divinely inspired in the way the Bible is.

Of course not. I hope that someone hasn't told you otherwise because that is a man made law if that is the case. I think that the Bible is what we should be reading the most above any other book but no I believe it not to be a sin.

It used to be considered a sin to read the Bible. Because only clergy were allowed to read it, not the common-folk. But no, it's not a sin to read other books.

Not unless you know it will cause you to sin, you're reading it instead of something you should be doing, etc.

I'm sure that there is some paranoid sect, somewhere, that would consider it a sin. Gotta watch out for them infidels who want to eddycate our kids.

Relax, there is no such thing as sin. Reading books is an education all by itself
But read the Bible too..... We need more educated, mature atheists.
