# How do you calculate the volume of O2 produced at standard conditions of temperature and pressure?

Volume of O2 produced at room conditions=290 ml

Barometric pressure= 740 torr

Temperature of water=24°C

Termperature of O2=25°C

Vapor Pressure due to water at 25°C =22.4 torr

First correct the pollection pressure for the

vapor pressure of the water:

P1 = 740 torr - 22.5 torr = 717.5 torr

You have for a fixed mass or moles of Ideal Gas :
