If all these Global Warming believers are so knowledgeable about Global Warming or Climate Change, why don't they at least define them?
Is this the typical 'Savior of the Earth's' definition?
Quote by Steven Guilbeault, Canadian environmental journalist and Greenpeace member: "Global warming can mean colder, it can mean drier, it can mean wetter."
I notice our top contributor, who claims that the true scientists on this site don't know basic science, hasn't chimed in. Maybe he knows more than his zombie like followers and knows when he is beaten. It looks like he is a whiz at cheap shots but short on basic science.

Oh Sage, that's not nice. You can't expect the Alarmists to clearly and concisely define these terms. They need the definition of these terms to be vague and duplicitous in order to push their agenda and fool the public.
They need these terms to be wide open to interpretation so no matter what happens they can say ---- HEY! LOOK! There's Global Warming and Climate Change.
See how it works?

Define climate change? Next thing you know, you will be asking them to use the scientific method.
Look, its very simple. The climate changed for billions of years. Those changes were caused by nature. Now, however, man is causing all climate change.
You see, man is causing droughts now. The number of droughts has not increased in the past 60 years, but the difference is that man is causing them now.
Man is also causing floods. The number of floods has not increased, but the difference is that man is causing them now.
Man is also causing crops not to grow. Don't worry about those pesky numbers saying that crop production is increasing faster than the population.
Don't forget about the hurricanes and tornadoes that also have not increased, but are now caused by man.
If you accept your CO2 sins against Mother Gaia and the words of the Great Goracle, you too can purchase carbon credits and wash your CO2 sins away. IF you are still unconvinced, you need to bang your head against the liberal wall of enlightenment (any wall will do) until you see stars. Those stars will be the Great Goracle blessing you with knowledge.

I think it is clear by their responses that alarmists have no clue what the definition is. On one side of their mouth, they suggest climate change means only that change that humans cause and on the other side of their mouths, they claim that any change is caused by humans. On one side of their mouth, they claim that global warming is just the warming that humans cause and on the other they claim that it is any warming. In the end, they just claim they believe because AGW has become a religious expression for them. They don't care how or why they believe, they just believe.
Anon suggests "First of all I "believe" in global warming the same way I "believe" in gravity." That pretty much says it all
The other Anon was equally insightful.

They need it to be everything, so then no one can prove them wrong. Otherwise if it only meant 'children won't know what snow is.' then when there is more snow, that would mean the end of their socialist enterprise.

Global warming means the Earth's average temperature is increasing. Which causes changes in climate to various places on the globe. That is the definition! Didn't you know this?

Both terms already have definitions? However whether or not they have been defined is irrelevant as definitions do not create truth.
I seriously hope I have misinterpreted this, and that someone isn't unintelligent enough to be asking what I believe you are in fact asking.
If we take the idea of mermaids for example, I'd say a large majority of people will agree that they're a mythical creature - they don't actually exist within our societies. It seems you may be surprised to learn that the word 'mermaid' is defined as a sea creature "with the upper body of a female human and the tail of a fish." Yep, something that isn't in actual insistence can still hold a definition, imagine that!Source(s): climate change is real.

The UN has two different definitions of Climate Change. One involves man and one doesn't.
That's all clear then.

Define what? You mean define the facts or sources for global warming? Well, I'm pretty sure they do
