How would you handle the sewage, and gray water problem. You could wash your dishes, clothing, and body in a metal barrel but what about the gray water? Wouldn't throwing it out side become an issue? OR Going to the bathroom. After your poo bucket is full what is the best long term way to handle it? I know that you can turn your poo in to gas but that's not an option for me.

Solid human waste could be handled in composting toilets. This would avoid water waste and the most biologically contaminated water. The much reduced and hygienic solids can them be used as fertilizer to enrich the soil. Other gray water would then be more easily for watering plants eliminating a great deal of potable water waste.
