Is 7200 rpm good for a 2 TB hard drive?

My new PC is coming with one

Update:

How much will it affect gaming?

Should be fine, standard for most of regular HDD's

Green series drives are little slower 5400/5900 RPM

Velocity Raptors are little faster 10000 RPM

Higher speed will only allow your games to load quicker, won't change actual game performance (FPS)

If you want fast buy a SSD (Solid state drive ) The price is not that expensive now.

Install the OS and applications in the SSD and use the 2 TB as a data drive to store you files (Movies,mp3 ......)You don't have to get high capacity for the SSD 256GB will be more than enough for most usage..
