Amazon prime charges?

Does prime get charged to your card on the day you sign up? Monthly? At the end of a year period?

when you sign up for amazon prime... they give you a month trial... so you will not be charged during the trial...AND if you cancel before the trial is up... you wont be charged too.... HOWEVER... if you hang on to the membership...they will charge you after your trial is expired. Once they charged you 99$... it is good for a year... basically...they charge you 12 months cycle.
