Australia is not part of the ring of fire.. The ring of fire marks the boundaries of various tectonic plates and these produce hundreds of volcanoes. They are found all round the Pacific from the Antarctic through New Zealand, the Solomon Islands, New Guinea, Indonesia and up through the Philippines to China, Japan, Russia across to Alaska then south down the Pacific coasts of north and south America. Australia sits in the middle of a plate and has no active volcanoes on the Pacific side. Australia's only active volcanoes are in the Southern Ocean south west of the mainland on Heard and McDonald Islands.

The Pacific Ring Of Fife has Nothing to do with Australia. It passes well to the East of Australia.
New Zealand is a different matter. NZ sits right on the Ring of Fire.

It isn't! The Ring of Fire is well to the East, passing through New Zealand
