Buying American these days is very subjective.

    Per Edmunds.com:

    1. 2015 Ford F-150 (tie)

    Percent U.S./Canadian Content: 70

    Final Assembly Country: U.S.

    Engine Source: U.S., Canada

    Transmission Source: U.S.

    2015 Toyota Tundra (tie)

    Percent U.S./Canadian Content: 70

    Final Assembly Country: U.S.

    Engine Source: U.S.

    Transmission Source: U.S.

Tied for 1st, as far as trucks are concerned.

As far as "American made" cars go, the Toyota Camry is the most American made per Cars.com, whereas the F-150 fell out of the top 10.

    American workers, at American plants.

That being said, the Raptor is a more specialized vehicle, whereas the TRD Pro is a slightly less capable, jack of all trades (though master of none). It's all in your personal preference as to which you buy, as both are GREAT vehicles for what they are.

A Toyota isn't a bad secondary "built in America" pick-up. No vehicle is ALL built in the U.S. but the Tundra immediately follows a Ford in being made in the U.S. (Predominately Texas). It is actually fairly close. You then have Chevy, GMC and finally a RAM.
