If Bernie Sanders wins the DNC nomination, are conservatives going to call him a socialist like they do with Obama?

They've called Obama a socialist for 6 years, even though he is not a real socialist, and does not identify himself as such. Bernie Sanders, on the other hand, openly acknowledges that he is a Democratic Socialist. Calling him a socialist just won't be the same....

They probably won't very much. This is because Bernie has the answer. Bernie is wide out in the open about his disdain for corporate and Wall Street greed and corruption. He WANTS TO TAX THE 1% at 90%. And he openly says so. Why? So we can put that money to good use making this country a better place to live in and raise a family in, rather than all that money going to tax shelters in the Cayman Islands.

Our most prosperous times in this country were when the top tax rate was 91% and union labor was nearly 50%. Since then, the richest of us are paying historically low tax rates, while they destroy unions and worker's rights. Basically, the greediest among us, with the help of the Republican party, have taken it all for a few decades now. They are living the highest of high lives, higher than ever before in our history - while many suffer. This is what Republicans work FOR, sadly.

I highly doubt Sanders will win the DNC nomination. Bernie IS a self labeled socialist. Yes, it will be attacked in debates as it should be.

Why wouldn't we call Bernie a socialist since he calls himself a socialist. At least he is honest about it.

They'll be busier trying to prove he's not a native born citizen. They probably think Vermont is part of Canada.

On the other hand, their own candidate, Ted Cruz, really IS a Canadian. So they'll want to be distracting attention from that too.

I'll be stunned if Bernie wins. If he does, I expect some GOP wacko to do far worse than call him names.

The GOP always takes one step further to the left when describing their opponents, so they'd probably call Bernie a Communist.

Bernie IS a Socialist, he lived on a Kibbutz.

He is a sure shot for independents. Still too early to say who will win for the democrats. I am betting Hillary.

We will but he has already admitted that he is a Socialist.
