What's your band of the day?

Mine is the Nervosas. I found out about them from a compilation on a cassette that I bought for $5.

BQ: What's a band you like from Ohio?

BQ2: When's the last time you bought a new cassette?

BQ3: What bands would you suggest that I check out based on the Nervosas?

Update:

@ Ryan

There's links to their music.

Update 2:

Here's a link to the compilation from the cassette. It's a free download.

Update 3:

@Tristan Geoff

Have you heard the Leatherface/Hot Water Music split CD? Most of the time, bands phone it in on split albums, but not on this one.

Update 4:

@Tristan Geoff

You can't think of anyone? Do you like Devo? I'm pretty sure they're from Ohio.

    Well I was just listening to Hot Water Music, so I guess them. Great, great band.

    BQ: Nothing comes to mind that I know of, at least at the moment.

    BQ2: Haha never really. I buy on CD. I've converted a few tapes to digital if that counts.

    BQ3: Mmm, it'd be easier if I could hear them but unfortunately I can't right now. I'll get back to you on that.

    As of a few months ago, my band of the day is always The Cure.

    BQ: Nine Inch Nails (based in Cleveland). My second all-time favorite, though technically it is not a band.

    BQ2: Never, to be honest. I still love buying CDs, though.

    BQ3: I don't really know them, so I can't say.
