Why is Uptown Funk by Mark Ronson and featuring Bruno Mars, even though Bruno Mars is singing practically the whole song?

Ronson composed the entire song, including the lyrics (although Bruno Mars assisted in these somewhat). Mars is just a guest to his work, despite singing most of it.

I believe Mark Ronson wrote it and maybe produced it. I would've looked it up but I'm lazy.

i think it's because mark produced it while bruno is the singer but I'm not exactly sure. I love that song
