Trinity College is an excellent University with a very high standard of teaching. It can be difficult to get into but that's mainly because of competition, not because the University is strict with looking for certain attributes in their students. It's definitely worth traveling over here for a couple of weeks to get a tour of the University and meet with some of the staff/lecturers/tutors to put to rest any worries you may have before applying. Also to get a feel of what it would be like living in Dublin. Hope this helped.
PS. Please ignore anyone that is rude to you for calling TCD a school, everyone knows what you mean by it and people calling you out for it are just being petty. Good luck with your application.Source(s): Worked in several departments in Trinity College for years. It's a wonderful place.

It is a UNIVERSITY, not a school. Over here, there is a difference.
It also has a website .... and if you are intelligent enough to figure out how to use that, you might just be smart enough for TCD.

Yes, but it is a University, not a school. Amazingly, they have a website showing entry requirements and fees
