How come you never see Black people doing documentaries on television?
Is it just me or has anyone else noticed that you never see Black people doing documentaries on Discovery channel, History channel, Animal Planet, National Geographic, BBC etc. How come you never see Black people doing any documentary shows like how Steve Irwin did on crocodiles or Kevin Richardson the lion whisperer kind. Or how come you never see Black people doing shows like Duck Dynasty where they live in the swamp or Dirty Jobs where you do nasty stuff like falling into the mud or pinching cows vagina ...... It would be cool to see a Black man hosting a show where he pets the lions/tigers or goes to the farm and feed the animals. What is the reason that these channels never have Black people doing documentaries?

Does Spike Lee count ?
He has done several documentaries for TV. Various topics and channels.

Now maybe you really meant Reality TV on certain cable channels. I tend to agree with you in that case.

Black people do do documentaries. It may be hard for you to find them because you don't look for them. The documentaries that blacks make are mainly about the black community, so why would you really want to watch it anyway? Also, whites outnumber every race in Hollywood...how come you didn't ask about never seeing Asian people doing documentaries? It's because you don't look for them.

Do you suppose that it has to do with the fact you don't get very much recognition for doing documentaries because basically all you do is narrate what is happening.
