I dunno about tramp but she's just as much a self-absorbed narcissist and, in all honesty, she's not that awesome an actress as Hollywood would like me to think. Don't get me wrong, she's good and as long as she's not living like Lindsay Lohan, she should have a long and successful acting career, but all the same, she's not that big a deal.
Today, I find people get rewarded for just being decent, for being marginal. We've lowered our standards of these American starlets so much, that when one of them just doesn't act like a drug addled bimbo (i.e. Lohan) we feel the need to reward them. In other words, Jennifer Lawrence (or Emma Stone) only seem exceptional because their peers are trashy. Lowered standards through and through.
Then on the other side of the world you've got class ladies like French actress Marion Cotillard who simply don't feel the need to act like jackasses nor feel the need to have a social media presence. She just shows up and does her job, solidly, every time. Not every role is a winner but she is consistent.
