A good name would be a name that people have heard before. Not a made up unique name. A name that children can grow older with and sound serious enough to be used by a professional in the career of their choice.

Mrs. Katherine , her friends may call her Kate.

Mr. Benjamin, his friends may call him Ben.

A name that won't embarrass them while growing up . A boy named Sue?

A girl named Cody? Some unisex names work but what's wrong with normal feminine names , Lauren or masculine names, Daniel.

    Keep names spelled correctly ,

    Danielle not Danyelle , seriously?

People are unique , names don't have to be.

I prefer timeless names ex. Anna, Natalie, Charlotte, Eloise, Isobel, Catherine, Clara, Lily, Josephine, Grace, Vivenne for girls and Benjamin, Henry, Daniel, Matthew, Theodore, Jacob and William as well as other similar style names that will grow with the child ex. Ava, Elise, Sienna for girls and Nolan, Joel, Samson for boys. I'm especially not a fan of misspelled names ex. Jaykob, Ayvah, Maysin

Good names are names that are in their lengthened form. (Jonathan, not Jon. Leonard, not Leo).

Good names are fitting of the gender. (This means no girls named Dylan or boys named Eve)

Good names are not purposefully spelled incorrectly. (Katherinn, Jaycob, Franklen)
