Can you send pre-metered mail to other post offices?
I have worked at a very large company for 3 years. The company resides in a local zip code (call it 90210).
We meter mail all day long at this company with the zip code "90210" on it and receive a discount of 48 cents instead of 49 for our first class mail.
A new girl who just started lives in zip code "90333", and to be lazy, she fights with me to try and take the mail to her local post office and drop it off on the way home so she can joyride and leave work early.
Doesn't mail metered at "90210" have to be delivered from that post office?

Indications are you were correct about the metered presorted mail needing to be mailed from the '90210' Post Office branch where the company permit is filed or recorded. The first included link from the United States Postal Service (USPS) states the following:
"Metered presorted and commercial mail must be brought to the Post Office where you hold your permit. Metered presorted and commercial mail CANNOT be dropped in a collection box or given to a carrier."
This excerpt is from the USPS link included below, and indicates official paperwork from your company would be required to obtain autorization to mail presorted mettered mail from a Post Office branch where the company permit is not filled or recorded.
"A customer may affix postage using a postage meter (postage evidencing system) licensed at one post office (licensing post office) and deposit that mail at another post office (entry post office) only if prior authorization is obtained from the USPS...".
