Why is the White House so upset about the use of the name Redskins for the NFL football team?
The federal government, which has Tomahawk cruise missiles and Apache and Lakota helicopters, and used the code name "Geronimo" for the attack that killed Osama bin Laden, officially objects to the name of the Washington Redskins, why? This is a good example of double-speak political correctness.

You are absolutely correct. It's a big deal about nothing and
you're right about government's use of Indian names.
I'd think most true Indians would be proud to have a team
named after their tribe. Political correctness stinks.

The word Redskins is offensive in and of itself, whereas just referencing an Indian tribe or individual Native American isn't.

Because the HNIC and his toadies pander to the prevailing public opinion. Obummer provided work permits to almost 5,000,000 criminals and has given the parasites in this country more free money, food and housing than any other president in US history.
Obummer is a turd who wants people to love him -- even if he has to buy that love.
