i have heard that whitetail doe usually have 1 or 2 fawns but it is rare for them to have 3. can they even have 4? i mean in one birthing.?

    1 or 1 1/2 year old does have one fawn. Twins are most common among mature does and triplets are not uncommon. Habitat, the carrying capacity of that habitat and the population living in that habitat are biggest determining factors. I have never heard of a doe birthing 4 fawns.
