iPhone 6 accessory not supported message?

I recently got an iPhone 6 Gold. I usually charge it with an iPod Touch 5 charger with a usb extender, and a third party charger block. I do have the original charger but I barely use it. I usually get this message when I charge with it and it reachs 100% and when that message occurs, it stops it from being plugged into it. Is it because it is an iPod Touch charger? I had this iPhone 6 for a week so far.

That happens with third party charging brick things that don't have the MFi specification. It isn't always an issue but compatibility isn't guarantied.
