Something to work with. Hope it helps.
1)
intruder: in addition to burgler, an interrupter of discourse
invader; more aggressive intrusion, as Genghis Khan
interloper;
unwanted person getting involved in personal matters
trespasser:less aggressive unwanted invasion invasion
of property
2)
whirl : spin about with a flourish
swirl : spin about with more panache, grace
twirl: as a verb. like twirl a top, spin around in place
3)
restraint; self control, but also a means of holding in place
constraint:
restricted action or stiffness of interaction with others
4)
chromatic:

prismatic : like a prism, separating light
iridescent:

5)
bastion: a stronghold or fortification that remains intact

As you can see, many of these words can be used interchangeably to convey about the same meaning. Some of them have meanings on different levels that can be better understood if you Google their meanings.
