    Use the inverse square law: F ∝ 1/r^2

    ----> 4F ∝ 4×(1/r^2)

    r(i) = 17.0 cm = 0.170 m

    (You should use the SI-unit m but since no other unit is involved

    we can use cm)

    ----> 4/17.0^2 = 0.01384 ==> 1/r(f)^2 = 0.01384

    r(f) = √(1/0.01384) = 8.50 cm
