How do I change the font size on yahoo e-mail?

First, Press Control and 0 (zero) keys at the same time while in your email window just in case you have ran into a known glitch. This resets your browser's zoom.
For Outgoing Emails:

While in your e-mail window and in Inbox mode:
To set the default size, go to the Gear (upper right corner of the screen), hover over the gear, and then select Settings from the menu that appears. In the Settings window, select the Writing Email tab. In Writings Emails tab, select (Tiny, Small, Medium, Large, Extra Large, or Huge) from the second pull-down (right most) in Default Rich Text Font row. This window also has a pull-down to select from a limited number of font types. Select Save to save the settings.
To change the text that follows:
To change the font size while writing an email. First place the cursor in the email where you want to increase or decrease the size. Then, use the mouse to select the Tt icon at the bottom of the screen. Again you will be provided with font name options and the size options of (Tiny, Small, Medium, Large, Extra Large, Huge). Select the size option that you want. Then, type again the font size should have changed.
To select text you already wrote and change the font.
If you want change the size of text, you already wrote. Highlight (left click and hold down the mouse button then move the mouse over the text to select it) the text. Then(as above), use the mouse to select the Tt icon at the bottom of the screen. Again you will be provided with font name options and the size options of Tiny, Small, Medium, Large, Extra Large, or Huge. Select the size option that you want.

There is no setting for incoming emails. Their fonts are controlled by the sender. You can increase your browser's zoom while reading them to view them in a larger size. However, this does not change what size the email prints at or are stored in.
To increase the zoom from menus, in Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox, go to the View->Zoom menus. In Google Chrome, go to the Three lines tools menu.
To increase the zoom by Shortcut Keys, press Control and + together to increase the zoom.
Press Control and - to decrease the zoom. Press Control and 0 (zero) to reset the zoom (This also clear a few known glitches.) Also, pressing Control and spinning the mouse wheel forward and backwards control the zoom.
