The store seems fine, having a merchant account so you could process credit cards on site would help reduce shopping cart abandonment rate and make the site seem a but more professional. (People are accustomed to seeing small home based operations using only paypal)
Some stores will popup a checkout button after one Ads to cars, having only clicking on the cart balance as a means to get to checkout is too obscure.
It's worth having a Google Adwords account, even if you are not actively using their paid ads, just to get you access to their keyword research tools, they sholh help you identify a list of the most common search phrases used to find your products, incorporating these phrases in your product descriptions and perhaps an added section of review and how-to articles should help search ranking and traffic.
There are tools that speed the process of periodically checking your search ranking for your target list of keywords.
You could use either the free rankchecker for firefox http://tools.seobook.com/firefox/rank-checker/ or the rankcheker in the free evaluation version of SEO Powersuite http://www.link-assistant.com/rank-tracker/ to generate a search ranking report for the list of keywords, the latter has some other analysis functions.
It should be OK to give your complete site URL, it's when people include the http... to create a live link trying to get seo benefits from the noFollow link that get posts dinged.
My local 99 cent store chain just switched form the pen to a bill scanner.
