Why does Canada ban FOX news Broadcast, but their Prime Minister doesn't mind being interviewed by Fox?

That's one of those liberal myths.
Fox News has been available in Canada since 2004.

Fox news was denied a license to broadcast AS a news channel in Canada as was HBO and CNN and others, Its broadcasts howver, over cable and dish channels are readily availble to the public and are NOT banned. In 2004 Canada did aprove a license for Fox but the station never got off the ground.

Fox News is not banned in Canada, that is just another popular Left wing lie. They made up a bunch of BS like Fox News is banned from Canada because Canada made a law forbidding news organizations to lie to make misleading reports; unfortunately the Left wing hypocrites did exactly this on the net.
"However, it is not true that such regulations have kept the Fox News Channel from gaining entry into Canada, or that they were invoked to boot Fox News out of that country after the channel was established there. The CRTC regulations apply only to Canadian broadcasters using Canadian airwaves; they do not apply to the Fox News Channel, which is a non-Canadian entity transmitted via satellite and cable, not broadcast over public airwaves. "
"The Fox Network, which is a broadcast entity distinctly different from the Fox News Channel, does not have any affiliates or owned-and-operated stations in Canada, but Fox Network programming is carried on cable and satellite providers in Canada through several U.S. stations located near the U.S.-Canada border. Except of course... Fox isn't banned in Canada. I get four Fox networks absolutely fine. Anyone can look up TV listings of any provider in Canada and they all carry Fox networks -- often four or five including time shifted networks. Same with any satellite provide.
Links to Shaw, Telus, and Rogers TV listings in Canada are included below. They all carry Fox.
Why do people keep saying this when it takes seconds to show it isn't true?Source(s): http://www.shaw.ca/personal/television/channel-lis... http://www.rogers.com/web/portlets/consumer/ptv/br... http://www.telus.com/en/bc/tv/channels.jsp

LOVELY evidence!..are you SURE you want to claim Fox is banned in the entire nation of Canada?!
I have no idea why you claim they ban fox news, could it be because you're not allowed to make fun of the mentally retarded in Canada and so they're protecting Fox News hosts?

I do recall Fox trying to make forays into Canada, but I didn’t know it was a done deal. They’ll make their way in. Because their entire objective is to poison good people with bad information. Like fox news here.
Canada tends to be more sensible, though. They actually take care of their people. The thought of Canadians putting up with a Fox News seems a bit of a stretch.
