What accent does Robert Carlyle have?

I know that Robert Carlyle (I've only seen him as Rumplestiltskin on Once Upon a Time) is from Glasgow and has a Scottish accent...but, I want to know what regional accent he has. I thought Glaswegian accents were stronger. Does he just have a milder Glaswegian accent or is it something else?

Glaswegian accents vary from the "educated" very mild, through to so strong you can't understand it. Robert Carlyle has one somewhere in the middle.

According to Wikipedia, he grew up, was educated and still lives in Glasgow. It may be that through his acting his accent has become a little muted, but that is about it.
