    no no no you should NEVER try and learn martial arts from books,films or youtube go to a real sensi /sifu and learn through gaining experience

    Get into a real school to learn martial arts. There is no one to correct you if you do it by watching online videos!!!

    Of course. They teach practicality, (Mr Bean's version of the kick in the first video:)) and how to use martial arts tools for other purposes (third video:)) In addition they produce laughter which is good for health, thus adding another martial arts benefit.:)

      The post was meant for levity. Most people who know me know this for what it is - just levity. However, you are absolutely correct: always use a live instructor, never online, books, or DVD's.
