Is Mitch McConnell completely clueless about climate change even when the Pentagon comes out with an alarming report ?

Update:

Mitch keeps denying that Climate Change is occurring and saying "Im not a scientist" but yet the Pentagon comes out with an alarming report verifying that not only is Climate Change real but that it poses a threat to national security. It would appear that Senator McConnell didn't get that memo from his pals that the Pentagon.

Mitch McConnell has voted in favor of big oil companies on 100% of important oil-related bills from 2005-2007, according to Oil Change International. These bills include Iraq war funding, climate change studies, clean energy, and emissions

Mitch McConnell received $305,600 in oil contributions during the 110th congress. $147,000 of those dollars were from industry PACs. In total, McConnell accepted $474,658 from oil companies from 2000 to 2008, making him a leading recipient of oil money. In addition to oil, McConnell has received $187,350 in coal contributions during the 110th congress. $78,250 of those dollars were from industry PACs.

All you have to do is follow the money to see why. Some politicians are for sale to the highest bidde and McConnell is one of them.

No he's not. He's myopically focused on the problems in front of him and as he see's it Climate change is a problem a future generation will have to handle long after he is gone. This failure to see or be able to deal with cataclysmic systemic changes when they occur be they economic, cultural, or environmental is a flaw in the conservative model of governance. This model relies upon past solutions to feed current problems.. to conserve and preserve what has been ongoing. This approach generally yields the safe and predictable solutions to societal problems, but when it comes up against a new systenic problem the conservative approach tends to miss or fail too diagnose it and has no answers, historically.

Do you have proof of this "alarming report"?

FYI - since "global warming" has been proven to be a hoax, the dems have moved on to call it "man made climate change", in a desperate attempt to save face.

Leave it to libs to blame Republicans for everything including the weather.

The trees I hug and talk to daily have said nothing about it. Got a Tree Link?
