1. First Aid is not a professional qualification. The certificate is simply a proof that the person has been trained from First Aid and a proof for the protection of the Good Samaritan law in case of legal troubles, such as Good Samaritan Act of British Columbia:

So practically the certificate can be used worldwide. The only exception is occupational need (such as teachers), which you will need to get a local certificate.
