Express scripts won't cover my prescription.?

Question

They are scumbags. My doc wrote me a script, they denied it, we appealed it, they denied it. I need it, but costs $4,000. I pay $20,000/year into healthcare, wtf? How can I get my script without having to spend $4,000 I don't have?

P.s., I hate the healthcare system.

Try Costco for a much lower price if you absolutely need it. I also have Express Scripts. They wrote me about a couple of my prescriptions, but my doctor was able to find suitable substitutes. On the other hand, I have two scripts which are not that expensive, but Express Scripts will not cover them regardless. Hence, I fill them at my local Costco for much less than the pharmacy charges. try contacting the drug's manufacturer and let them know that you can't afford it. They may give it for free
