The GOP has a more ethnic diversity than the Democrat party does. Why are so many libs brainwashed into believing otherwise?

For the confused liberals pondering this question please understand it's not about the many low-info voters...it's talking about how the GOP has a great amount of Representative diversity. Meaning candidates who are Black, Asian, Female, Hispanic, Homosexual and Native American...REPUBLICANS, yes that's right Republicans do have more diversity.

No, this article is about politicians, not the party. The Republican party as a whole in the United States is mostly older white men.

    Also, note from your link:

"The new 113th Congress is the most diverse in history, but that diversity comes almost exclusively courtesy of the Democratic side of the aisle. For example, there are 42 African-American members of the House -- all are Democrats. The Hispanic population is comparatively less skewed, with 27 congressional Democrats and eight Republicans. Among Asian-Americans, we're back to the lopsided totals -- 11 Democrats and no Republicans."

The article refers to the leadership, not the rank and file, which the author says 'needs work'.

His deeper bench refers not to national, but state wide elections, but running an East Indian for dog catcher isn't the same as running an African American for senator.

I personally think all you need to do to gauge where the minorities are is to take a look at the tapes from the last two conventions. The Democrats convention looked like American, all colors all kinds. The Republicans tried, they put their few black faces right up front, and they did well with some Asian Americans. But it was no contest. They were 98% white. And looked very comfortable being that way.

All you've proven is that the GOP is good at propaganda. Does not erase all the racism we see from the majority of GOP supporters every single day. I am a supporter of Rand Paul but am an independent who is generally opposed to the Republican party as whole.

90% of blacks vote Liberal, 71% of Latino's vote Liberal & 66% of women vote for Liberals, so how does this allow for your twisted belief for diversity or gender advantage in the GOP ?

Racist White guys, Stepford wives, gerrymandering, suing and winning with the 5 conservative majority in SCOTUS and money has kept the GOP in power.

So you are confused enough to think some diversity in your politicians as the same as diversity in the voting ranks. That just proves how out of touch you are.

Talk about cherry picked data. A handful of governors? Why no mention of black Dem governors and mators? Why no mention of the diversity of people who actually work for the parties?

I suppose that's one point of view but, you know what they say about opinions. Everyone has one and, yours is one of them.

Because it is easier and more comfortable to believe in a fantasy than to face reality.

Liberals just ignore facts that prove them wrong.
