Feature Points is indeed "legit." It's something I personally stumbled upon while scrolling through Tumblr. Here's how it works:
Feature Points is a sort of umbrella program that allows its users to test new or advancing applications on the market. Users are then rewarded for spending a bit of time downloading and trying out these apps (literally 60 seconds and you get a result). Each app you download through Feature Points will credit points to your account. You can keep downloading and trying out totally free apps until you have enough points to buy the offered rewards which range from iTunes gift cards, to Xbox LIVE codes, and even PayPal funds that you can use anywhere.
This program is entirely free and does not solicit credit card information, or any information besides your email, which is entirely optional. The corporation that runs Feature Points (TapGen Corp.) makes their money through sponsorships and by signal-boosting the apps they reward users for downloading. They then give a portion of these proceeds to the users, creating an incentive to come back and try out more apps.
Personally, I use Feature Points every now and again to get about $10 in PayPal funds (altogether takes about 2 hours to get enough points for) and then I use that money to purchase Riot Points on League of Legends whenever something catches my eye like a new skin or champion.
Here's what you need:
-Any smartphone with internet capabilities
-This link. It will take you to the Feature Points site and will start you off with 50 points: http://featu.re/FXPPRC
-A bit of patience
That's it! Good luck :)
