What does TURBID A (appearance) mean in a urine analysis?


Everything in my results turned negative, but it say in red appearance TURBID A...why is it in red does that mean somethings wrong?

    melco - when the only comment of your urine analysis is TURBID, you are FINE with nothing to worry about, Turbid means cloudy. It often happens when urine is not examined right away within one hour after collection as should be the case. It might be due to standing or a diity collection container. It might also be due to some crystal formation of chemicals found in normal urine or from some harmless food substance,

    Turbid means it was cloudy. This can indicate infection, but not a guarantee. If the medical professional told you that you are OK, don't worry.

    crystals of calcium oxalate indicate there are stone formation in the kidneys drink lots of water do not eat tomatoes as they are high in oxalates pus cells-2-3/HPF is normal Epithelial cells-1-2/HPF is normal
