I never watched spongebob past 2002. those were the best episodes, they were actually funny and well written. so that's what I think about when you bring up the show, I don't care about anything further than those first few years. so seasons 1 and 2?

i don't think i have a specific favorite though, there's lots of early episodes that I love. it reminds me of my childhood.

as for the movie, it came out after spongebob's peak. it was okay though, at least from what I remember.
