The Grammar 4 types you are asking=3x4=12.
Verb Tenses and Aspects given here are 10.
Tense refers to the time of a situation. English makes use of two tense categories, which are indicated by the form of the verb:-
PRESENT:- walks, is walking, has been walking.
PAST:- walked, was walking, had been walking.
Unlike tense, which indicates a verb's location in time(past or present), verb's aspect refers to situation. .Aspect=auxiliary+a main verb.
2 aspects apply:-
PERFECT aspect:-relative to:-eg:-I have climbed Mt.Ali Shan many times before now.
PROGRESSIVE aspect:-duration of a situation:-eg:-I am strolling the Boardway walk.
Aspects appear in sentences in conjunction with tenses to form:-
PRESENT perfect:-has walked, have walked
PAST perfect:-had walked
PRESENT progressive:-am walking, is walking, are walking
PAST progressive:-was walking, were walking
The perfect and progressive aspects can be combined, as in the case of has been walking; had been walking.
Then you try learn Irregular English Verbs:-eg:-Base---Past---edParticiple
Keep up with the good work.
