Aren't Canada and America basically the same country?

    They are certainly similar in many ways. Many Americans on their first visit to Canada are surprised at how similar they look. But the longer you stay the more differences you see. Some are subtle, some not so much.

    Canada shows us Americans what our country might be like if we had never had a revolution!

    Isn't Australia and New Zealand the same country? NO. Same thing with the US and Canada

    No they're different countries. Although they both use common law and civil law as their legal systems, they have different forms of government. Canada is a Constitutional Monarchy that uses Westminster system, The United States is a Constitutional Republic that uses the Presidential system.

    No. Canadians don't have to worry about losing everything if they happen to get sick or injured. But that's Socialism! Oh no! Here in the USA we have antisocialism.

    No much is different in Canada. They're freer and live better quality lives.
