List of Branches in the Government?

i'm a high school female student and i go to a law enforcement career and technical academy. my school basically deals with all thats law enforcement and emt/firefighters, etc.

i'm still not sure of what i want to do when i'm out of high school although i still have time to decide.

i want to know different branches of the government and military and things of that sort. i would actually enjoy the basic army training and i'm more than positive i could handle it.

i found out i cant join special forces bc im a female. what else can i do that is similar to that. i know there's the CIA, FBI, DEA, ATF, secret services, and the army/marines/navy, etc. but what are the differences of each or what are they. what else is there besides all this.

and in the movies Olympus has fallen and White House Down. what are some careers/jobs seen that would be interesting. any combat role would be perfect.

There are 3 branches of the U.S. Government: Legislative, Executive, and Judicial.

There are 5 branches of the U.S. Armed Forces: Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, & Coast Guard. The first 4 branches are under the administration of the Department of Defense and USCG is under the administration of the Department of Homeland Security

The CIA, FBI, DEA, ATF, & Secret Service are Federal Agencies; they are not the military.
