You have a Malware/Adware infection hijacking your browser in order to show more ads.

If you go to Google.com and search for "v9 search" you will find numerous virus removal guides, like:

    http://malwaretips.com/blogs/remove-v9-search-viru...

Some versions of windows are a bit insistent in making Bing your default browser, good luck dealing with that...

    Infected with a browser hijacker.

with all its privacy issues just why anyone uses google chrome is a mystery to me.

    AdwCleaner Home Page > http://general-changelog-team.fr/en/tools/15-adwcl...

NOTE: AdwCleaner is a reliable removal tool for adware, toolbars,

potentially unwanted programs and Browser Hijackers.

It works with a Search and Deletion method.

    No installing required,

It can be easily be removed

by clicking on the ineptly named uninstall button.

    IMPORTANT NOTE :

The SmartScreen filter in Internet Explorer can block the download of AdwCleaner,

This is obviously a false alarm...

    If you encounter this problem,

    check out this article http://general-changelog-team.fr/en/home/39-englis...

to see how to successfully download AdwCleaner.

to make sure you have not got other garbage left on there.

then run a full scan with SUPERAntiSpyware

Portable Scanner Technicians Edition > http://www.superantispyware.com/portablescannertec...

    and remove whatever it finds.

this also does not require installing,

just delete it when you have finished using it.

another useful tool you could also use is the

    junkware removal tool > http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/junkware-...
