Why do NFL players with Great talent mess up so much?

Josh gordon is a great WR, if not elite, hes very close and now he probably just threw away his 2014 season

The ratio of black to white in the league is 3:1 and they are 10x more likely to get into trouble. A lot of it is surrounding themselves with the wrong ppl. There's been a lot written on it and I don't feel like rehashing it.
