In sports, 'clutch' is an adjective which defines players that make remarkable plays in high-pressure situations, just like Damian Lillard did last night by hitting a buzzer-beating three pointer in Game 6 of the Trail Blazers - Rockets series with 0.9 seconds to go and trailing by two.

Clutch means in sports to come through at a time which the team and yourself will benefit no matter what a time where you need to and your team needs you too. Derek Jeter would be considered Clutch in Baseball. Lilard excels at hitting Clutch Shots Often Like At the buzzers or late in the game or in the playoffs etc
