Kemp signed a long-term deal in 2012 and has basically been a waste of a roster spot since. He uses any excuse to take time off and is generally unproductive if he does play. Even with Puig, the Dodgers get the worst bang for their buck among NL outfielders: Crawford, Kemp, and Ethier have all quit trying since they signed long-term contracts.

Puig is the only outfielder putting forth an effort and he'll soon get tired of it. Once he's eligible for free agency, he'll bolt to a team that doesn't have a trio of lazy, overpaid bums in the outfield.

Kemp is in his 9th season with the Dodgers. He is more valuable than Puig - who has less than 1 full season.

Simple math, Kemp will be with the Dodgers longer since he has an 8 season advantage.

Both are over-rated. I'd choose Puig because he is younger.
