    02. “Don’t ring me up before seven o’clock,” he said.

    He requested not to ring him up before 7 o'clock.

    03. “Don’t run along the corridors,” the prefect told us.

    The prefect told us not to run along the corridors.

    04. She told us, “Hurry up, or you’ll miss the bus.”

    She told us to hurry up or we would miss the bus.

    She told us to hurry up in order not to miss the bus.

    05. The choir-master told them, “Sing louder!”

    The choir-master told them to sing louder.
