1) General form: Y= X^2-2/3*X-1/3
positive discriminant = 16/9; two real roots: x=-1/3 and 1
factors: ( x -1)( x +1/3)
2) General form: Y= X^2-21/8*X+5/16
positive discriminant = 361/64; two real roots: x=1/8 and 5/2
factors: ( x -5/2)( x -1/8)
