Surrounded by skycrapers and cement buildings, the Nankan streets are suffocating. When people start to realise that the old houses and trees are all lost in this cement forest, they made up their mind to protect the remaining green.
Urban renewals are changing old places rapidly, causing empty houses with noone living in it. Houses with historical values are now useless, damaging the city view, making them the dangerous part in the city.
Can these buildings regain their attention with new designs?
History shouldn't be confined in written words, it should be felt and even kept in our hearts.
Old parks renewed, bringing vitality by new generations, the once emptied houses are now used for community events and presenting local histories, turning into a whole new attraction, also providing a place for local artists to rent, driving residents with more community cohesions.
