Until you told me, I had never thought of it. 兩件事之間有時差（過去完成式vs過去簡單式），think在tell之前：在你告知我以前，我想都沒想過。

We stayed there until we finished our work.兩個「過去簡單式」表示無時差，我們一直在那裡（直到做完工作的那個時刻，我們還在那裡）。

Tony didn't want to have children until his little daughter was born.兩者沒有時差，應該都用「過去簡單式」。（直到他小女兒出生那時，他都還是不想要生孩子。）

until用於情況改變, 用過去簡單式即可, 意謂直到...才....(中譯改肯定)

強調前後順序時, 才會用到過去完成式與過去簡單式的對照.
