how do you solve this.....

what is the remainder when the polynomial

p(x)=x^500+ 5x^201 -x^2-2x+4 is divided by x-1

p(x)=x^500+ 5x^201 -x^2-2x+4 is divided by x-1

p(1) = 1 + 5 - 1- 2 + 4 = 7

this is called remainder theorem
