What does it mean when a city (at least on wikipedia) has a t [cross] symbol by it?
I don't know what the symbol is called, but it basically looks like a religios cross, like a t I guess. It's bigger than a normal t or T though.
I was seeing a list of all the cities in Oklahoma on wikipedia and some cities have the symbol beside it. I think I remember Oklahoma was in the Bible belt but not positive. Does it mean it's a major religious city? Or that it meets some sort of requirements to be a city or what?

The dagger (†) symbol next to the cities means that the city has a county seat (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/County_seat). The double dagger (††) symbol next to Oklahoma City means that the city is both the state capital and has a county seat.Source(s): Tech expert at DD Systems Computer Repair West Palm Beach http://www.ddsystemswpb.com/
