It's not the Christians fault that democrats keep oppressing and killing people. Democrats simply are not Christian in their beliefs or outlook.
I suggest that you take a closer look at the true history of the US before you start disparaging Christians again. Your bigoted prejudice is showing.

Gee ... a human institution striving for a lofty goal (such as living by Godly principles) turns out to be imperfect and flawed. Goodness. Who would have guessed.
Just because we have had obvious flaws and made obvious mistakes does not IN ANY WAY suggest that they goal was not a much higher standard from the start. All you've done is overstate the obvious that no human society can EVER perfectly live up to it's goals.
So set those goals as high as possible ... to be like Christ. That way, if we just come close we will be far better than any other society.

1. I believe you mean "American citizens of Japanese ancestry".
Detaining Japanese citizens in a time of war makes sense. Detaining our own citizens just because they have Japanese roots does not.
2. Your "logic" is faulty. Even _if_ America was founded on Christian values (it wasn't, but let's go with that for the sake of pointing out the flaws in your statement), the failure to live up to those values would not be a condemnation of the values.

It was pick and choose which ones to follow and when, wasn't it.
But that is true of all nations who claim to have some sort of a Christian base, whether by later embracing it or from the days of their foundation.
