I can't login to steam?

Question

I login in with the RIGHT username and the RIGHT password but i just couldn't login. I search up my name on the community and my profile just is an X with no picture. I can't see it either. Can someone help because i feel like throwing up. Is it like a server thing?

Steam servers were down for the last 1 hour or so, since they are back now you could try logging in now to see if it works.

1. Boot

2. Autostart Steam

3. Steam closes instantly

4. Execute Steam.exe (without any parameters)

5. STILL getting error message (offline mode not available - no connection possible)

6. Click "RETRY"
