My samsung galaxy s3 turns off randomly?

I have my samsung galaxy s3 for 1 year without any problems until this week it keeps turning off randomly..My son downloaded something from the web and than he took it off and my phone is not good ever since..I was wondering maybe it could be a virus i'm going crazy trying to fix it..Any help would be very appreciated..
