What should I expect on the California Achievement Test?

I'm not sure if I'm going to take it online or not yet! I mostly have questions about the math part- if it's on paper am I required to show work on the test? Can I use a calculator? If it's online does it "lock down" the computer until time's up?

usually part is with a calc and part is not

you dont have to show work (but if this is for a tutoring scenario, you may want to - seeing how you approach things can help a tutor really understand what you need quickly)

ive never given an online CAT, sorry but i think its safe to assume it will lock down. timing is very significant on those tests.
